Yes, and there is nothing to sign up for. The work happens on your machine, so it costs us no server time and there is nothing to charge you for. No watermark either, because there is no file of ours in yours.

That is what this page does. Your files are read from your disk into the tab, joined here and written back out here. Nothing crosses a network, which you can check by pulling your cable out and using the tool anyway.

Twenty-four, up to 500 MB in total. Each one is held decoded while you work, which is roughly ten times its own size in memory, and past that a tab starts to struggle rather than fail cleanly.

Yes, and M4A, AAC, OGG and FLAC alongside them. Different sample rates and a mix of mono and stereo are fine too: everything is put onto the highest rate in your batch before it is joined, so nothing plays at the wrong speed.

It is the whole thing. The list is the running order, top to bottom, and the arrows move a file through it. Nothing is merged until you press the button, so you can reorder as many times as you like first.

A gap puts silence between two files and keeps them both whole. A crossfade overlaps them, fading one down while the other comes up, which is what you want between two pieces of music or two takes of the same sentence.

Yes. The speed control applies to the finished join, and with "keep the voice" on it changes the pace without moving the pitch, so nobody sounds like a chipmunk. You can also type a target length and let the speed work itself out.

It does, and the file picker is the same one your phone uses everywhere else. Very long files are slower on a phone than on a laptop, because the join is real work being done by the browser you are holding.
